About Boga Union Secondary School

Nestled next to Boga Bandar, under the Bauphal Upazila in the district of Patuakhali, Boga Union Secondary School has stood as a beacon of knowledge and excellence since its inception. Founded on January 20, 1950, thanks to the generous land donation by Mr. Abdul Haque Mollah Talukder (locally revered as Nasu Mollah Talukder) and the unified efforts of our community, our school has cultivated generations of successful individuals. Unbound by the name of any single individual, our school embodies the collective spirit and aspirations of its founding members.

Our Journey of Excellence

From its early days, Boga Union Secondary School has played a crucial role in enlightening the local community, achieving remarkable success in academics and extracurricular activities. Notably, in 1994, our school was crowned champion in a national-level volleyball contest. We continue to excel in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) exams across our diverse curriculum offerings in Science, Commerce, Humanities, and Vocational training.

Alumni and Reunion

Our alumni are the torchbearers of our proud history and the architects of our future. In 2013, a dedicated group of former students established our alumni network on Facebook, facilitating connections and collaborations among graduates across the years and around the world. Our first official reunion meeting in 2018 in Dhaka was a resounding success, rekindling old bonds and forging new ones.
